We both been hurt before, we are no strangers to the disillusions of love and yet we still have faith that love still exist.

There are so many wounds between us, so many to count, invisible to the naked eye but clearly seen by our souls. Our wounds are slowly healing; our new found love is all that is needed to erase years of abuse, of negligence.

You have asked me before why we didn't meet sooner, my answer to you is that, we were not ready yet to meet, we still had battles to fight, we had to endure pain and disappointments to be able to appreciate what we have today and what we have today is more than pure love, it is not an infatuation but merely a conscious act of loving knowing that mistakes will be made; Knowing that our past experiences will be in the shadows trying to influence us.

We both know that we are no longer naïve about love and that we have our idea of what it should be, we are trying though to redefine it in a way that fits our reality, one that expresses in simple but clear meaning what we have which is magic, nothing more nothing less. It just is.
